Real Madrid are close to historical €1.4 billion deal

Real Madrid are close to historical €1.4 billion deal

The contract could be the biggest deal in the football history
According to Marca, the Spanish club are ‘a step away’ from signing a new 10-year contract with Adidas, and they will receive €140 million per season.
“The deal will be the biggest kit sponsorship deal in football history. As it stands, Manchester United hold that record with the 10-year deal they signed with Adidas in 2015, which is worth €98m per season,” Goal notes.
Meanwhile, Florentino Perez, the president of Real Madrid, has not given up his attempts to sign Neymar, Sport reports.

According to the Spanish source, the president’s tenacity cannot be underestimated, and will also use Los Blancos’ considerable wealth to continue to push for a move.
The 68-year-old lost the transfer battle for Neymar to Barcelona. Perez says that he has excepted that outcome as personal failure and wishes to make amends by plotting a Luis Figo-style swoop for the attacker.
The rumours say that Madrid sees the 23-year-old as the long-term replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo.

Sport reports that Ronaldo is frustrated with Florentino Perez’s attempt to sign a replacement behind his back, and the 30-year-old believes his time at the club is coming to an end.
