Enyimba will lift the Nigeria Professional Football League trophy for a record breaking seventh time today, November 15, at the Teslim Balogun Stadium, regardless of what result they get in Lagos.
After 37 round of league games, the Aba Elephants have garnered 69 points with a game to spare.
Their opponent however today is the Akure Gunners Sunshine Stars who are chasing a continental ticket.
The Peoples elephants confirmed their status as champions last week with a 0-0 draw against title contender Warri Wolves.
Enyimba won the first leg 3-1 in Aba with goals coming from Nzube Anaezemba, Ezekiel Bassey and an own goal by Stephen Eze while league topscorer Tunde Adeniji got the consolation strike.

25′ Freekick to Sunshine in a very dangerous position. Emmanuel Sunday takes but it straight at the Enyimba’s wall. A sunshine player is down.
23′ Offside! Enyimba! Mfon Udoh plays in Peter Onyekachi but the linesman has his flag up.
22′ CHANCE! Olorundare Dele curls in a dangerous freekick from 25 yard but goalkeeper Femi Thomas produces a fine save to deny the midfielder.
20′ The corner kick is taken but cleared, Sunshine players calling for a penalty but the ref waves play on.
18′ Again Ojo Dayo surges forward from the midfield and releases a dangerous cross from the left but it’s cleared for a corner.

13′ Ojo Dayo drives forward again and plays a defense-splitting pass to Adeniji Tunde but Enyimba’s defender Markson Ojobo sticks a foot in to deny the Sunshine stars a shooting chance.
11′ GLORIOUS CHANCE! Dele Olorundare tees up Ojo Dayo but the midfielder blazes over from 20 yards.
9′ Half Chance! Enyimba! A long ball meets Mfon Udoh but the league top scorer last season scuffs his shot just wide.
7′ WOODWORK! Sunshine’s Olorundare Dele cuts in and curlsa beautiful strike with his left foot but his effort strikes the woodwork. The rebound drops well for Afolabi Okiki who blazes over from close range. Big chance there! Sunshine stars are playing beautiful football.
5′ Peter Onyekachi drives forward from the left but his cross his easily dealt with by the Sunshine’s defense.
4′ Sunshine stars have started very well in this game as Ojo Dayo dribbles three Enyimba defenders before he’s brought down in the middle of the pack. The Akure boys are on the frontfoot.
3′ The corner is taken but its long and high.
3′ CHANCE! Odunlami Kunle strikes a shot just inside the box, but its parried away by Enyimba goalie Femi Thomas and runs out for a corner.
