Rotten, born Brian Knighton was best known for competing in Extreme Championship Wrestling
According to the Mirror UK, Rotten was found dead in a Baltimore motel room

He was reportedly discovered in a motel room by authorities.
The wrestler competed in the Extreme Championship Wrestling as Axl Rotten from 1993 to 1999.
WWE paid tribute to the star as it confirmed news of his death. A statement said: “WWE extends its condolences to Knighton’s family, friends and fans.”
He died on Thursday, 4th of  February. His final tweet read: “The way I do things may not be the way you do things but you will find out there is only 1 way. My away! (sic) #AxIsTruth.”
