Manchester United’s David De Gea would have earned €11.8million (£9.1million) a year at Real Madrid, if he had completed his proposed move to the Bernabeu last summer.
Football Leaks, have published De Gea’s proposed contract at Real Madrid and the documents show that the 25-year-old was due to pick up around £175,000 a week, plus bonuses, until June 30 2021.
The Spain No.1’s move from Manchester United to the Spanish capital looked to be complete on the last day of the summer transfer window before a late collapse with the two clubs invloved in the move blaming each other for the collapse.
Additionally, De Gea would also have received a signing-on fee of €10.9m (£8.44m), which would have been paid in January 2016.
In total, De Gea stood to earn more than £66m from the duration of the contract as the club looked to register the goalie for its league squad.
